Seeing the Chester troops raising glasses, Bistro brings a tray of 10 mugs of ale over for his friends, in addition to the 2 in his hand for himself...

I am proud to be in such good company here and congradulations to everyone! We have a lot of work to do ahead, but for now we celebrate our sucesses!

Bistro drains his first mug, and starts on the second.

Desi arrives, after having been invited by Elson Ming, who had approached her in Regent’s Castle. She is genuinely flattered to have been asked to come, thinks briefly about which of her titles and names to use, gives up and just says to the doorman “If anyone asks, just say it’s Desideratist. They either know who I am already, or can come and ask. I am so many different things, these days…”

The bustle is bewildering, but her first view is of Zelana, new rank badges on her arm, being congratulated by Aiiane. Old friends both, and she waves and smiles in their direction.

Upon seeing Lady Desi arriving to the barrack.

Gen Elson immediately walk towards her and usher her to his table

"Welcome my lady. I am glad that you have come. Can I offer you a drink?"

At the same time, he introduce he belove wife to her

"This is My wife, Maj Tasite, I not sure whether have you meet each other."

"The Military Embassies room is not ready yet. But if you wish, I can show you the Lvl 3 training room."

"A drink would be very welcome – I prefer tea, fruit juice or cider; whatever you have. And your dear wife I know by reputation rather than our actually having met, although her reputation is such that I feel I already know her. Major, a pleasure to meet you.

And as far as embassies go, time enough for business later. And I would probably feel a little out of place in a level 3 room – every time I nearly save enough to start my studies in medicine, there is some war or other, and I never manage to make it beyond 2. I have a tidy sum hidden away in my workshop in Birmingham though, and am considered suitably dressed, so as soon as I am back home again I shall make efforts to attend University. I’m beginning to feel left out…

I admit I am unsure which of my “hats” you were intending me to wear in your Embassy. I do so many things these days. Royal Honours Authority, Knights of the Realm, College of Heralds, Privy Council as well now. All of the above, or a selection, I don’t mind. I would however say that as far as KotR goes I am not very senior. Sir Gregarious has been heard to call me his “senior squire”, but I have still not won my spurs yet. I would imagine that he and Sir Lucas-Miguel “Dragonflame”, would be very pleased for our Orders to be in close communication, but I would have to ask them, I think. They may wish to appoint someone more senior, but then again, I would think they would be happy for me to do it.

With a huge grin on his face, Viktor stops playing his instrument and saunters over to show his old friend, Lady Desi, his stripes and the honors that have been given to him, as well as his new sword, stain-painted with a mural of a flaming Phoenix with wings outstretched over a sword-impaled wolf.

"It's good work, yes? Look how sharp is this blade! See, this bread slices in half just dropping across blade. I got sword from Aranion. He's good blacksmith, yes? Here, see, is balanced, yes? and strong. and look, I still have this staff you made. I use it a few days back to thump on scoundrel who tried to attack town hall. See, here's your initial, and here's his tooth mark beside it. I give him his tooth back if I see him again."

Desi is overjoyed to see old friends from Staffordshire.

"I must admit Aiiane, you look much happier in uniform than when you were a duchess. Politicians are attacked more than soldiers, in their way. And Viktor, good to see you too... glad to see you take more care of your staves than I do. I've broken three over the heads of Reavers on the border my last turn of duty. I think the wood must have been green."

General Elson PA

Seeing some stirring and clamoring near Gen Elson I quickly make my way over next to Him.

Listening to all gathered around their conversation I remember seeing This Lady (Desi as she prefers to be greeted) before in our offices. Leaning over and gently touching the Generals arm, Pardon me Sir, I whisper: Sir who is this Young Lady, I've seen Her around before could you please offer me an Intro, "Perhaps A friends" welcome would do fine Sir of course if you approve so.

Again thinking before He can turn to answer me, I hope I haven't embarrassed myself too much in front The Generals good party and this pretty woman.

Gen Elson asked a waitress to bring some tea over.

"Lady Desi, Do have some foods too. It been cook my our men." He smiles

"And for 1 thing, I invite you here is because you are our friend and share our KoP objective. You always stand up and fight for England. You give your life to protect the peoples. I salute you."

"The reason why I want to invite you is hopping that we can work together, and co-ordinate all the militia unit. But not be wrong that I or KoP want to control all army in England. That not our objective. We just want to find a way to work something for NEA."

*Pause while Col AIsafe walked to join in*

*Listen to Col Aisafe and he laught*

"Lady Desi, I am sorry. Let me introduce you. This is Colonel AIsafe. He is helping me in KoP operation."

"Col Aisafe, meet lady Desi, I am sure you must have heard her name before. She is one of the brave lady I had come cross."

Seeing all my fellow Knights enjoying themselves and all chatting away happily to each other , makes feel happy that I am part of such a wonderful group of people

Even though I am feeling Happy and very proud for my promotion and Award , I can't help feeling very sad as we have lost 2 of our members .

I decide to leave the party and go and pay my respects to the fallen .

Seeing a waiter pass by , I stop him and take a mug of ale from his tray .

I walk out of the great hall and the castle gates and make my way to the Cemetery .

I walk up to the freshly covered graves of the men who died doing they job protecting England and Cornwall

I salute both graves and hang my head in prayer .

After praying , I salute both graves again and make my way back to party

Taking an appreciative sniff of tea that is brought for her and Major Tasite, she sips a cup, nods her appreciation to Major Tasite, and speaks to General Elson.

“I am for England, that is true. An unfashionable stance, these days, and I have a feeling I may get in hot water for it, but it’s the way I am. I have recently spent some time as squire to Sir Gregarious on the northern borders, dealing with these Reavers. It was like shooting fish in a barrel though. They send expendable young girls to test our defences, so we send them home to house arrest for a few weeks; that soon makes them think twice about neglecting to get a passport.”

She happens to overhear Aisafe, and thinks to herself “Young indeed. I’m in my forties. Not the first time I’ve been thought younger.” She smiles, a little sadly. Her heart is elsewhere, which is probably not what the dashing Colonel wants to hear. He seems to have a bit of a sparkle in his eyes, so thinks she should probably let him down gently, and continues.

“My heart is in Scotland, however. McMannanan, whom you probably remember from when he was in KoP; he decided that KotR was more for him. KotR work more as individuals as the tiger does, in knight/squire pairings or small groups, but KoP are more an army, emphasising teamwork, in the way of a pride of lions. A tiger in a lion pride is still a tiger, and vice versa. The tiger is better with other tigers, and those that are lions should stay with the lions. No dishonour in being either a lion or a tiger, once you realise which you are. ;-) So he has joined my Order, and even moved to my town, which flatters me to girlishness, but as I say, he is in Scotland presently. I miss him.”

She blushes and hides her face behind a sip from her teacup for a moment, having said more than she had intended. On being introduced to the Colonel, she smiles sweetly.

“A pleasure to meet you Colonel. Always good to meet more of KoP’s finest. And before you start to believe the General, I am not so brave. There is a thin line between brave, and stupid and stubborn, and I have a horrible feeling I am stupid and stubborn. “

Replying to Aiiane, she says:

“Ah, study. It is my great dream to come home to study medicine. I have made some studies with the wise men of the Celts, and my own studies into the properties of herbs and fungi, and it just makes me want to know more. And besides, war and famine always threaten, and I think we have been lucky not to have illness and plague thus far. It will come, I am sure. The way of Science is much like the Army Way, but our battles are against disease.

When McMannanan’s duties in Scotland are done, we shall go back to Birmingham and make a home. I have a feeling the Gods will not make things that easy, however.”

"Oh McMannanan, yes I do remember him. He was 1 of the knight in Worcaster. I have not heard from him for a long time. To be frank, I though he had followed Merlyna and join Wos.

I am glad that he is good and able to stay with the light path. Thank you for telling me this. Please send him my regard and tell him that we will still welcome him to KOP if he wish to return.

As I didn't see his resigned letter, I have place him under inactive knight."
