| Gen Elson walk to the parade square. It has been a long time that KOP had call for a parade.
He get some men to setup the stage and put some chairs for the on the stage for the Generals.
"Ask the commanders and get their men ready." He told the guards to go and look for the commander |

| StarKey arrives early for a change, helping spruce the place up. It somehow manages, even through the dead of winter, to get a litle dusty and unkempt after 3 months. The Old Grant Hall has held up well after so many years. Lots of memories here... and hopefully many more years worth to come. The talk of disbandment having been laid to rest... hopefully.

| Wondering who'd still be left after the exodus to Ireland Walther enters the parade ground, greets Major Gourounisios and the other fellow Knights.
He wonders if this would be the last ceremony for him within the KoP, if the people that volunteered for the NEA would have to leave... enough, today isn't a day for such mullings. _________________ IG Walther_von_der_Tann |

| The road had been dusty and the days laid endless. She is thirsty. Hopes of travel time well spent accompany her. Absentmindedly she slow trots toward KoP HQ until the guards stop her. She brings her stallion to a gentle halt. The horse nays and it's nostrils flare. Eeeasy, she whispers, gently stroking his mane. The kop are rather formal and very professional today. They size her up, walk around her horse and check her credentials. She waits thru it half patiently. Thoughts of reminiscence turn her head slightly. It hadn't been too long since she was at her PR office last. Some unfortunate trouble there that had to be taken care of...and was.
But her PR office is accessible from the other side of the complex.
This time she is returning to the inner sanctions of the castle.
The guards recognize her now and hurry to snap somewhat clumsy salutes, bumping into each other, trying to accommodate fast and proper. Appreciating their thorough job, Lyds smirks and gives a clever two finger salute, with a wink, then spurs and klicks the horse gently into a slow trot.
She rides elegantly in her English saddle, her slender spine ever so erect despite her fatigue.
Onto the castle grounds.
The memories are haunting.
They flood in as soon as she glides thru the gates.
Ghostly shadows of life altering events seem to float and hover, following, accompanying now. Suspended by her side... So many lives are so often affected here. Hers certainly was.
Turning her head to one side, then casually to the other in perfect, elegant rhythm to the horse's slight swaying gait, Lydia lets the recollections fall upon her shoulders and tenses just a little under the burden.
Wondering how all her old friends have faired since they last saw each other. Time, space and choices can be a tremendous separator of acquaintances. Sadly.
Love and friendship are so precious. Need nurturing.
The grounds are barren. Lydia raises a slight eyebrow. Seems General Elson has everything under control. She had sent word and if he needs anything, her being KoP's very own faithful and, some would say, very capable officer in charge of Public Relations, laison to the general staff and Knight Herald to the KoP High Council, she is sure that he will let her know.
It would be good if she could just sit this one out maybe and simply observe from the stands. She will go where she is needed.
For a brief moment she stops and tries to look back from whence she came. Sweeping the area, as she does, her eyes and heart take it all in... The South Tower, the courtyard...
Where could she stable her horse, she wonders. She sees the stalls now and recognizes the building for the lodging and feeding of the horses and veers her steed over and toward it.
As her glance strays, she meets a few faces she recognizes and a veil of contentment floats down to ease her mind. Old friends and comrades. She smiles and nods acknowledgment in their direction.
Taking heart now.
She dismounts by releasing the strap, swinging her leg over the rest and jumping down; all in one fluid motion. Landing on both feet at the same time and straightening her riding jacket as soon as she hits the ground, she whispers assurance to the horse while reaching for and re-grabbing the reigns. A pat over the bridge, a lingering soft kiss to the velvety muzzle and the horse calms visibly and immediately.
Turns and slowly guides her horse to the stables. _________________

| Having recently entered the stronghold, Sir Collen stood his stallion among a band of his own mounted guard. One of those vigilant worthies spoke more than casually as he observed, “Look yonder, it is the Lady Lydia, our very own herald m’lord.”
So much had passed since Coll last saw that noble maiden’s fair visage, yet the memory of her suffering remained etched in his mind. When death loomed near, it seemed to be Lydia’s heart that called unto the ethereal realm, yet Coll’s surgeons had struggled with the hand of fate until the wondrous lady’s own vitality had assured her of life and more. Flight by ship, burning watch fires, and one last parting were mingled with remembrances of sleepless nights required for the girl’s healing. At last, the saga of life and death drew the company of knights that surrounded Coll and their wounded charges to Caer Finn Castle, where no measure of Eastern medicine was spared, and long had been their abiding in that ancient place.
Even as the damsel departed Caer Finn Castle by canopied coach for a return to her own lands, Sir Collen had ridden cross country to pace the team of white horses which bore the lady as a princess of legend amid her escort of a score of Coll’s very own knights. When the last forested hill of that mountainous road was traversed, Collen sat his steed atop the tor’s crown as if to still safeguard her passing. Never expecting that her beauteous visage would peer through heavy cloth draped against winter’s late chill, the sudden appearance of her piercing glance took him unguarded, even at a distance. As the fates would have it, these two had long struggled side by side in peace and war, and now battled for the lady’s life together. Much passed in Coll’s mind as the knight recalled every sleepless night of the maiden’s convalescence. The warrior had risen in his stirrups to stand high above the land, his teeth flashed in a grin, and his open palm was raised in a lasting salute. Perhaps the maiden’s curious smile had been a final acknowledgement that there was no joy or mirth in that savage grin the knight bore.
After two moons of madness and death, Coll now saw Lydia for just the second time since her grievous injuries and his heart was drawn to the noble maid for all her suffering.
In an instant, Sir Coll spurred ahead and dismounted to greet the maiden in courtly phrases to which she was accustomed, “I bid you gentle welcome Lady Lydia.” Then forgetting his cares long enough to smile, the knight said, “You are well healed from the last ceremony. Allow me to accompany you so that we might reminisce and I may aid in assuring no further misadventures befall a lady so bright and fair.” |

| Aiiane rode Capriccio into the KoP headquarters, presents her papers to the guards, receives a salute and permission to carry on. She rides over to the stables, dismounts and hands her mount over to one of the grooms, "See that he is well tended.".
Finding both Sargeant Walter and Major Gourounisios, Aiiane approched them, snapped to attention and saluted smartly, "Corporal Aiiane reporting as ordered, sirs!" _________________

| Riding to the parade grounds, his armor pinching him in the few spots where he has put on some additional internal padding. "That's it", he thought, "come hell or high water you are going to get back in shape either by smithy or by sword. This statesmen life is making you fat."
Seeing many that he knew by rank if not by face, he wanders over to the point along the edge of the parade grounds where he could put his foot on the small stump half buried in the ground and relieve the pressure on his knee. Snalling a salute as the Generals walk past, He settles in and awaits the call to attention. |

| [OCC: sorry boys & girls, I was having high fever for last 2 days.]
Gen Elson Stand on the stages and the moment he saw Gen Collen, he give him a salute and signal him to come to the stages and join him.
At the same time. he yell over to the parade square "Fall-in and get ready to march in. Commander report your strength now"
[commander please send me a pm for the March / April stats report]
He than turn around and speak to Gen Collen :" Are you surprise that why this time I didn't appoint any parade commander to take charge of this. I think you will agree with me that we have too relax for the past few month and it time to get back to track. We also need to have a good parade to remind every single knight that KOP is a Military Group" |

| Degas arrives on his steed Shadowfax, and walks her over to the stables. Once he has his properly housed, he walks over to the parade ground, and awaits for the ceremony to begin, he looked down at his unifom and remembered ho poud he was to be part of such a grand military organization. _________________ Knights of the Phoenix-Captain Knight of the Round Table-Knights of the Realm Married to Lady CruzinCat Father to William and Rachel Earl of Macclesfield Former Captain of Wiltshire, Chester, Cumberland |
