| Ok I opend up a thread to Rp and am getting word that the Duchess of York won't RP the Wars of the Roses. Because she won't RP a war!
The Earl of Warwick is under a perma-ban....
Now where do we stand with Joan of Ark? Is she dead? Did anyone Rp her death?
We are knights of England right? How do we fight for a bunch of politicians who are cowards?
Why? Why are we not raiding the Scottish Borders? They come over and are called outlaws, we need to retaliate and gain ground. Why are we not pushing?
Wars of the Roses, House of York and the House of Lancaster are to be at war and skirmishes right now.
So let me get this right, RL history has no application to the game? I am really disappointed in this game now.

| Bigg, If I'm reading your post right you are upset that you were put aside in the RK forums for the role play issue you have tried to start. Is this correct ? Perhaps A link to it would help all of us too better grasp your needs. However starting A role play doesn't guarantee any response in those Forums. So we here would have no sway to it. Unless actually seeing it. _________________

| Besides, I don't believe this game was ever meant to reflect precisely to historical events as they happened in the 1450's. We're not here to "replay" events as they happened. This is a fantasy game, set in the 1450's, where we make our own history based on events that occur within the game. That's not to say there isn't some historical perspective to be derived from this period in time, not so much based on actual events, but more so economic, political, social and yes, military.
Just because something happened historically between England and Scotland, doesn't neccessarily mean it has to happen in RK. In the game, it may be in our best interest to forge an alliance with Scotland in anticipation of a French invasion.... or even an NNGO invasion, a group that didn't exist back in 1456.
If you joined this game thinking RK was created to replay history, you may need to rethink how you see the game. _________________ Gen StarKey ~~~~~~~~~ |

| Hi Sergeant Biggumbo,
It's true that there will be no "War of the Roses" in the game, but we've had the NNGO war which climaxed at Birmingham and we've had the Cormwall War which just ended last month. The game still offers us a lot of choices. There are plenty of wars to be fought!

| Gents, I must say that anything can still happen in game, and or RP!
Aisafe, Starkey, JParsons, you are all correct, but it has been an interesting adventure seeking answers, however, by me doing so I seem to have been leaving a trail for others to follow as they seek answers to their questions.
I will not be resigning |

| A messenger arrives from the far south. Carrying two letters which are now delivered to the two people intended for. Both folded in half and sealed with the wax of a tavern candle. A stick of lavender lay across.
| Quote: | “My dear Gumbo,
This issue and the words in that have reached me had me truly concerned for the man I once spent so much time with. In fact your concerns have been one long that has cursed England for some years. Many of us choose to refrain from. Still just the same to loose any one player is a crime with in itself. I am very happy on this eve of me doing what none thought was possible that you have decided to remain. With one as dedicated as yourself doing your part. It does me much good to know my new path that draws me away does not leave the reigns unmanned. Instead followed with a blessed new member of our society who is so truly blessed to try new and exciting things. Do not give up Sir Biggy. As I prove daily. Nothing is impossible.
Merrily, Marzy Temporary acting mayor of Bridgewater, and Instigator of much excitement.” |
With one letter issued the messenger proceeds on to the other recipient. _________________
